The WebServUSB Root Folder - The docs folder | The scripts folder

This is the WebServUSB Root Directory (folder) as it stands at the time of the writing of this manual. Note the folders and files - some you will use, others you will not:

  autorunusb: files to enable the WebServUSB automatically run when plugged in - learn more about it
awtstats: Advanced Web Statistics application - requires PERL to be installed - learn more about it
cache: folder to store cached web content - improves server speed
config: Reserved - Stores the server configurations. Do not touch anything in this folder
docs: Where all websites reside - learn more about it
ftp: the root folder for the ftp access - you can set this to be any folder
logs: folder to store web access log - used by AWSTATS program - learn more about it
mailserver: third party mail server program included with WebServUSB learn more
multimedia: folder holding sample MP3/WAV/MPEG files used in demo
net-tools: network monitoring applications included with WebServUSB learn more
scripts: Where all CGI and PERL scripts etc. reside - learn more about it
syshelp: Reserved - Do not touch anything in this folder
sysimages: Reserved - Do not touch anything in this folder
tmp: used by the AWSTATS application - temporary files
autorun.inf  - file used to automatically startup the WebServUSB server application
license.txt - End User License Agreement (EULA) what you can and can't do with the WebServUSB
quickstart.txt - Open with Notepad - How to get up and running quickly with a minimum of hassle
WebServUSB.exe - the Server Program
WebServUSB.iwb - a settings file, do not modify or remove
WSUSB-Installer.exe -  run this program ONCE to make WebServUSB autostart when plugged in

 

The files you see should remain untouched. You may view the license, readme if you wish.
